For those of you who dont know the forest is in need of our help. Please help these guys out. The Forest is a great venue. If you have ever been there you know you had fun. Now all you have to do is support them and voice your opinion and experience there. You can even do it after reading this on the computer. **Please come with me to City Hall tonight to save the Enchanted Forest, with alot of bodies we can make this work. You can make a difference all you have to do is show up at City Hall around 5:30 or 6 pm. The Enchanted Forest and family and friends have been bringing you Artist from all over the world for many years and will try hard to keep it going for you. Please come out and join us tongiht there will be validated parking. YOU can make a difference. Much love for all.

THE STORY :

well my friends, the powers to be have voiced themselves and have come to the determination that the forest is to be banned to you. there is a complaint driven group in the city called p.a.c.e. that i have been told a hand full, that is 4 to 5 people, have made it a regular practice to call and complain every time the forest gates are open. it is these few people that have bent the ear of the city to close the forest due to a few obscure code issues that the messenger from the city did not know what it meant. i will be finding out the details and fighting the closing of the forest but will need your help. as of today though, i have been banned to have more than 49 people at any one time on my commercially zoned property.what the hell is up with that!! if you know who and how to contact the right people in the city to let them know you would like to see the forest reopen please,please, let me know. thank you everyone for your continued support through the years that has made the forest one of the most unique attractions in austin,in texas, in the u.s.,in the world.

of me to make fun of the video, but I still support the cause.

Has anyone looked into the idea that noise ordinances are unconstitutional? I mean, why should the rights of day people to get a quiet 8 hrs sleep be protected while the rights of night people to that same quiet 8 hrs is grossly violated by the same laws? It is ok for construction workers to laugh in your face if you tell them that they are disturbing you - and why? Because they are making money. Well, bars and the Enchanted Forest are making money too. P.A.C.E. should have to just deal with the noise, just like every night shift worker.

PACE...

The people that are in PACE are a bunch of south Austin yuppies that want to cleanse their area of fun and art. People that do things at night are up to "no good". Its just a repeat of that city council meeting I attended earlier in the month, probably the same people complaining about red river.
